Omniversity General: 1 month, 1 week ago · ViewHi Steven, The trick is to identify the bounds for your resistor’s bright and dark readings – you can do this by writing the values down you see in the serial monitor when you shine a light on it and when you occlude it as best you can. This will give you high/low readings. You [...]

Securing funding for your project or organisation is never simple, and with cutbacks and austerity in the air things are not getting easier. Thankfully, we’ve been able to arrange an exclusive full-day workshop with Laura H. Drane , decorated veteran of the bid-writing process. Laura has won bids from £500 to £500,000 in her years of experience, [...]

Hi Guys,
This one’s particularly for @thebetamale – answers for the code challenges (where it’s not just a matter of changing numbers!) is available in the following zip file (hosted on dropbox):
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/877414/BEGUARPHCO-challenge%20answers.zip
Should be virus-free, but to be safe, just extract the .ino files for Arduino – they’re plain text.

Omniversity General: 2 years, 1 month ago · ViewHi Rick – yes, this is aimed at fluent beginners. As for parking – the meters on Edge St. end at 6pm, but there tends to be a bit of a free-for-all after 5:45 . There’s also parking on Church St. and Shude Hill, both no more than 5 minutes away.

Omniversity General: 2 years, 2 months ago · View@qmacro @alanholding I’d also be interested in putting on a data mangling course, but without it getting too techie (there’s a lot you can do). Not sure how to frame it though? My fear of coding clojure for Fusion tables is that I think a lot of people will get lost.
