From cash tills to mobile phones, Adrian has been adding the Internet to devices since the mid-90s. For the past couple of years he’s been using Arduino boards to help build the Internet of Things – from Twitter-watching bubble machines to power sockets that report their energy usage. He runs MCQN Ltd, who apply these skills to client projects; co-organises the Howduino hack weekends; and has recently taken on the role of official maintainer of the Arduino Ethernet library.
